I just came across this whilst looking at the It’s Nice That website and I had to share it. It almost had me in tears. It may be me being super dappy or it truly is lovely. I think it’s the latter.
I finally popped into the Museum of London yesterday to catch a glimpse of the Hand-Drawn Maps of London mini exhibition organized by Londonist before it ends on the 11th of September. And wonderful it is. It isn’t how well or how accurately you can recreate the A-Z, it’s whatever you want it to be; personal, historical, comical, educational or narrative. Maps by the ordinary folks of London sharing their experiences and passions as they make their way around this town of ours. And whilst you’re there, if you haven’t already, you must see London Street Photography exhibition.
