After the excitement on Sunday morning when I got to rescue my neighbourhood’s resident Sparrowhawk, I have been somewhat distracted, like a surrogate parent, waiting for news of whether he was going to be ok or not. I heard from Laurence (the bird-man) today, that Mr Sparrowhawk is going to be fine. He’s convalescing in an outdoor aviary with the good company of another Sparrowhawk. So, in celebration, I’m bringing you four lovely bird alphabets.
