Beenees Homes For Bees: Its The Bees Knees
images taken from All Lovely Stuff

How much do I want to be a bee so I can live in one of these? Damn, they’re cute. I’d have a whole row. I’d have a whole row even as a human. Lucky bees. And bees need our help so how better to help them than to provide rent-free (voluntary donations of the honey-kind are welcome) social housing? Beautiful and simple. I am aware that I use simple in a lot of my blog posts but I am keen on the less-is-more approach to design and this seems to be All Lovely Stuff’s buying choices mentality. I do not require any frills or bows (or rarely, at any rate) and you’ll be hard pushed to find one on their website. Clean lines, unpolished wood and gentle wood, throw in a some lighted-hearted humour for fun and this collection of homewares will have you cooing for more. Above is the ‘beenees’ house and below, is the very satisfying ‘On, Off, Pull, Switch’ light-pull wooden-ball, the ‘Dino’ salad-servers which will get even the most reluctant salad-eater munching and finally the ‘Chop Saw’ chopping-board that pleases me no end. They seem to be doing the rounds of the UK’s homewares and interiors shows, so go and have a gander, otherwise they have a number of stockists both in the UK and internationally.
