I rather delighted in this wallpaper last week at the Chelsea Harbour Design Centre during London Design Week and so I feel it’s only right to bring them to your attention. Now, if you feel like the resurgence of the classic 70′s flying ducks are taking irony a little too far then maybe these Mallards will be more to your liking. Fresh from Mulberry Home, this Flying Duck pattern comes in a delightfully crisp range of 5 colour ways as part of the ‘Heirloom’ collection that includes an airy light sky-blue through to a warm autumnal browns and red. Complete against a contemporary Japanese-esque tree design, the two Drakes come flying in head straight for a nice deep cool pool, I reckon. A nice style of design which has traditional elements and yet feels remarkable modern. Any of the ducks will bring a bit of country chic to any home, perfect for busting out the tweeds and the monocle. Go forth and quack, sorry, conquer!
