Amara Amaras Love Affair

This isn’t the first time I have blogged about Loveramics (previous blog link here), but I repeat myself with good reason, I promise. But this time it’s the new ‘Flutter’ range and Amara, have a lot of it. Inspired by the classic Chinese Hua Niao (flower bird) paintings, this modern yet traditional style crockery was designed by Peter Ting. And lovely it is. Loveramics is a chance to access Oriental design direct from source rather than influenced by. It makes a nice change when the export of contemporary Oriental design has been few and far between. I do like a bit of bold tableware especially with a nice graphic print. Combining the two popular themes of birds and flowers, these illustrations could never be accused of being chintzy. Brazen and exotic and set against a simple white ceramic, with even just one select item as a key piece, you can’t go wrong. Amara is an online emporium of all things gift. Bringing you a carefully chosen selection of homewares products from all areas of price spectrum, there will be something there that fits any budget or any style. A good way to reacquaint yourself with old classics but also, a fantastic way to be introduced to new brands and designer makers in a comfortable setting. Nicely laid out and easy to navigate, this is a gift shop that you could get lost in.
